IS Student Lauren Salloum awarded ICRU Fellowship to work with Dr. Žmolek

Lauren Salloum, a fourth-year student in International Studies, has been awarded a $2,500 Iowa Center for Research by Undergraduates (ICRU) fellowship for Summer 2021 to work with Dr. Michael Žmolek in commencing work on an edited collection of primary source documents on the history of capitalism.

Dr. Ari Ariel, associate professor of Instruction in International Studies and History and the Associate Director of International Studies, was elected to the Board of Directors of the Association for Jewish Studies, the largest Jewish Studies organization in the world. He started his three year term in December 2020.
