University of Iowa international studies alumna Holly Harris (Fall 2021) has been awarded a 2022-23 Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship Award to be an English teaching assistant at a university in Brazil.

International Studies Students Host Donation Drive to Support Refugees and Immigrants

Students in Dr. Peter Gerlach's course IS:3012 (Community Engaged Learning with Refugees and Immigrants in Iowa) partnered with local nonprofits to host a community donation drive on May 11th, 2022. The drive provided gently used clothing and household items to support local immigrant and refugee populations.
